Privacy Policy

Clockwork Supply Co. is a trading name of Cleaning Service 7 Days Ltd. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

We have written it to be read rather than skimmed past. If anything here is unclear, contact us at sales@clockworksupply.ca and we will explain it.

What we collect

We collect only what you send us. This website has no account system, no shopping cart, and no login.

Through the quote request form: your name, business name, email address, and — if you choose to provide them — your phone number, town, the product categories you are interested in, and whatever you write in the message field.

Through the newsletter signup: your email address, together with the date and time you signed up and which form you used. We keep that record because Canadian anti-spam law requires us to be able to show that you asked to hear from us.

By email: if you email us directly, including job applications sent to careers@clockworksupply.ca, we receive whatever you send, including any attachments such as a resume.

Automatically: our hosting provider records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested. This is ordinary server logging used to keep the site running and secure.

We also use Google Analytics to understand how this website is used — which pages are visited, how long people stay, what device and browser they are on, roughly where in the world they are, and which site they arrived from. We use this to work out which parts of the site are useful, not to identify you. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party marketing pixels, and we do not use this information to build marketing profiles or to advertise to you elsewhere.

Why we collect it

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote
• To set up and service your account if you become a customer
• To assess your application if you apply for a role with us
• To send you offers and supply updates, if you asked for them
• To keep the website secure and functioning

We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not build marketing profiles.

Cookies

This website does not set advertising cookies, and nothing here follows you to other websites.

Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser so it can tell a returning visit from a new one and group page views into a single visit. These are analytics cookies rather than strictly necessary ones. The only other cookies are those set by our hosting provider to deliver and secure the site. The typefaces used here are served from our own domain, so loading them tells no one else that you visited.

If you would rather not be counted, you can install Google’s opt-out browser add-on, or block cookies for this site in your browser. The website works exactly the same either way.

Third parties

We use a small number of service providers to run this website, and your information may pass through them:

• Vercel hosts this website and serves every page. Standard technical information, including your IP address, passes through it.
• Cloudflare provides the domain name service that points your browser at our site.
• Resend delivers our email. Quote requests and newsletter signups are sent through it, and it stores the email addresses on our newsletter list.
• Google Analytics measures how the site is used. It sets cookies in your browser and sends Google information about your visit, including your IP address, the pages you view, and your approximate location.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with anyone else except where we need to in order to respond to you, or where we are required to by law.

How long we keep it

Quote enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and, if you become a customer, for as long as we do business together plus the period required by Canadian tax and business record-keeping rules.

Job applications are kept for up to twelve months, then deleted, unless you ask us to remove them sooner.

Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. We keep the record that you consented, and when, for as long as we are sending you messages and for three years afterwards.

Marketing email

We only send offers and supply updates to people who have asked for them. Signing up on this website is how you ask — there is no pre-ticked box, and we do not add customers to the list automatically because they bought something.

Every message we send identifies us and carries a working unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing takes effect immediately and costs you nothing else: it does not affect your account, your pricing, or our answering the phone when you call.

We do not sell, rent, or share our list.

Your rights

Under Canadian federal privacy law you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you
• correct anything that is wrong
• delete information we no longer have a reason to keep
• explain how we have used it

Email sales@clockworksupply.ca and we will respond within thirty days. There is no charge for this.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information you send us, including serving this site over HTTPS and limiting access to enquiry data to the people who need it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information — banking details, government identification numbers — through the website form. If we ever need that kind of information, we will arrange a secure method with you directly.

Children

This website is intended for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under eighteen.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be noted here rather than made quietly.
